state-of-the-art 24000 sq. metres plant commissioned in Dombivli, 50 km from
Mumbai, Maharashtra
The Vohra family has been in the business of rubber
since 1943 and is currently being headed by its fourth generation. The
Zenith group was the creation of Farooq Vohra which was established in
1965. His vision founded Zenith Rubber which started out as a small scale unit
making cycle tires and tubes employing 25 people. Today it has grown to be a
multinational having Zenith Rubber in Mumbai and Reem Rubber in the UAE
manufacturing a wide range of rubber sheeting, rubber flooring , matting’s and
molded rubber goods with a trained work force of 300 workmen.
The Zenith Group of companies is spearheaded by Mr.
Mazhar Vohra. Under his dynamic leadership Zenith has spread its wings in
the field of rubber sheetings and flooring the world over. After achieving
great success with Zenith Rubber in India and Reem Rubber in UAE, his pursuit
for excellence now gives birth to Zenith Industrial Rubber Products Pvt.
Ltd.
Zenith Industrial Rubber Products has been established in
the Dombivili, Maharashtra area, spanning 24000 sq meters with the
first phase of the project being now complete with a built up area of 12,500
sq meters. It houses state of the art machineries making it a world class
plant with completely integrated production facilities in line with
international environmental norms.
In the heart of Zenith Industrial beats two F220
banburys that pump out over 80 tons of rubber compound per day. This
enables the plant to produce an A grade product with consistent and
homogeneous mixes.
These mixes are then fed into Zenith Industrial's high
precision calendars that give accuracy and control thickness to the extent of
point one (0.1) of a millimeter. The calendar rolls are peripherally drilled
and individually driven to achieve perfect dimensional control on Zenith
Industrials sheeting and flooring line. The cross axis on the calendar enables
Zenith Industrial to coat fabrics with rubber that are as thin as point one
(0.1) of a millimeter.
Zenith Industrial has battery of 9 rotocures that vulcanize
nearly 500 meters of rubber sheeting’s and floorings per day. Each of these
machines have been refined by Zenith’s own team of highly qualified engineers
to provide high productivity and quality rubber products by incorporating
precision mechanisms for in process checks and controls.
With the addition of Zenith Industrial's capacities the
Zenith Group now has the largest rotocuring facility in the world.

A combined strength of 22 rotocures at its disposal and
with installed capacities of 25,000 metric tones per annum ensures on time
deliveries to our valued customers.
The hydraulic presses expand Zenith Industrials range of
sheetings enabling it to make products for thicknesses up to 50 millimeters
thick which are used to make vibration pads and high abrasion resistant
sheeting’s that are widely used in the mining industry.
Zenith Industrial will incorporate a fully equipped
Research and development lab with all the modern testing facilities such as
rheometers (rio meters), Ozone chambers, fire resistant testing ovens and
electrical insulation testing equipment to test up to 60,000 volts. With its
wide range of customers that span all five continents, a highly trained and
